Youth Leadership Somerset
Leadership Somerset is a leadership development program that
introduces students to the organizations and services that shape
Somerset County, and challenges them to explore current issues
facing the community.
Each session is a dynamic learning experience that focuses on one of
the following topics – leadership development, environment, human
services, government, economy, justice, healthcare, and diversity.
During sessions, students will have the opportunity to interact with
current leaders in each of these fields.
Participation in Youth Leadership Somerset helps build critical
thinking, collaboration, and communication skills that strengthen
leadership abilities. The program encourages young people to take
active roles in their community, and use their unique talents to
contribute to a better, brighter future.
