Why You Should Apply

Each year we seek energetic people who live or work in Somerset County and who reflect a cross-section of ages, cultures, races, interests, viewpoints, professions and experiences. We are looking for individuals who have a genuine interest in Somerset County, a desire to become more involved in the community and high standards of personal quality and integrity.

Candidates, and their employers, must be willing to commit to one weekday a month to participate in Leadership Somerset to make this a successful experience for you and your classmates.

Your investment in Leadership Somerset through your participation and a modest program fee provides you with:

• approximately 100 hours of learning experiences;
• the opportunity to meet community leaders;
• networking with other members in your class and over 250 program alumni; and
• the opportunity to enhance your own leadership skills through active participation in several projects during your program year.
