Application Information
Leadership Somerset is looking for
energetic people who live or work in Somerset County and who represent a
cross-section of ages, cultures, races, interests, viewpoints, professions and
experiences. Applicants should have a genuine interest in Somerset County, a
desire to become more involved in the community and high standards of personal
quality and integrity. Candidates must obtain the consent of their employers and
commit to one weekday a month to attend Leadership Somerset classes. Full
participation is required to make the experience a success for all class
members.
The majority of the cost to attend the program is underwritten by the
Somerset County Board of Chosen Freeholders. Leadership Somerset participants
are asked to contribute a program fee of $250 for the year, which includes
participation in all sessions and meals. Limited financial assistance based on
need may be available. A diverse group of applicants will be selected in October
and notified by Leadership Somerset. Attendance in January is mandatory for all
participants.
Applications are available annually in July and are due in September. Please
